ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Marines with 6th Engineer Support Battalion use a team-lift technique to move a 300 pound piece of bridge equipment during a training exercise here, June 11. Many of the pieces used to put together a medium girder bridge require more than one Marine to effectively move them.
