ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

NEW ORLEANS – Lance Cpl. Christopher Cox, an administrative specialist at 4th Logistics Group, serves desserts at tables at the New Orleans Mission, Oct. 10. The NOM is staffed mostly by volunteers like Cox that help run its daily operations, from feeding the community’s disadvantaged residents to providing free boarding for the homeless.
