ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Mardi Gras 2014
Fireworks burst above the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Harry Claiborne moored at Spanish Plaza following the disembarkation of the Krewe of Rex, March 3, 2014. The 175-foot coastal construction tender and its crew delivered Rex and his krewe for the kickoff of Lundi Gras. Also aboard the Cutter was Lt. Gen. Richard P.
