ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Corporal Tariek Leith, a radio chief with 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve instructs a junior Marine on proper radio dialogue between ground units and notional flight platforms overhead in preparation for an assault exercise April 8, during exercise Joint Warrior 2014. During Joint Warrior, Marines worked alongside their British counter parts in the United Kingdom to strengthen interoperability ties.
