ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Barrett and other senior leaders applaud finalists at the Commandant of the Marine Corps 2014 Combined Awards Ceremony at the Clubs at Quantico in Quantico, Va., Jan. 29, 2015. The ceremony recognized superior recruiters, drill instructors, combat Instructors, Marine security guards, career planners and Semper Fit male and female athletes of the year.
