ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Sergeant Maj. Kasal becomes top enlisted leader for I MEF
Sergeant Maj. Bradley Kasal, 4th Marine Division sergeant major, returns the noncommissioned officer’s sword to Major Gen. Paul W. Brier, 4th MarDiv commanding general, signifying the end of his tour as 4th MarDiv sergeant major, during a relief and appointment ceremony at Marine Corps support facility New Orleans, Feb. 26, 2015. During the ceremony, the Marines bid farewell to Kasal as he prepares to assume his new post as the I Marine Expeditionary Force Sergeant Major and welcomed Sergeant Maj. Daniel Fliegel as the new sergeant major of 4th MarDiv.
