ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

For the past 10 years, a task-organized detachment from 4th MLG has deployed to Norway to augment the Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization in order to repair and restore equipment used to support future contingency operations. By maintaining strategic locations throughout Norway, the program promotes regional security, maintains national interoperability and supports rapid response to crises and contingencies throughout the continents of Europe and Africa.
