ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Marines from Battery M, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division gather together as a class is given covering the fundamentals, functions and safety procedures of crew-served weapons at Pelham Range in Anniston, Alabama, on Sept. 19, 2015. The Marines applied all of their knowledge and increased their proficiency in firing the M249 SAW, the M240 and the M250.
