ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Marines from Battery M, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, fire the M240 machine gun at targets down range at Pelham Range in Anniston, Alabama, on Sept. 19, 2015. The Marines attended training to hone skills and increase their proficiency in crew-served weapons systems.
