ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

The Marine Corps Rifle and Pistol Matches Award Ceremony marks the end of the annual Marine Corps Competition-in-Arms program. The Competition-in-Arms program has provided Marines around the world with the opportunity to achieve various medals and trophies by displaying their skill in small arms marksmanship.
