ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

14th Marines train with one of Corps’ deadliest rocket systems
Marines with Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marines, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserves fire a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System during their annual training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla., June 5, 2016. The surface to surface missile system can accurately engage targets over great distances. With high volumes of lethal rocket and missile fire, the HIMARS delivers precise strikes from over 40 miles away. The Reserve component has one of the two HIMARS detachments in the Marine Corps.
