ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Rubio (center), communications chief for Battery F, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marines, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, teaches Marines the functions of a 117F multiband/multimission manpack radio, during their summer annual training exercise, “Iron Rage,” at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla., June 5, 2016. During Iron Rage, Marines conducted field operations with HIMARS and tested command and control proficiency at platoon and regimental levels in conjunction with other batteries from 14th Marines in Alabama and Texas.
