ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

14th Marines train with one of Corps’ deadliest rocket systems
A guided multiple launch rocket system (GMLRS) rocket is launched from a High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System, mounted on a truck, during exercise Iron Rage at McGregor Range, N.M. Saturday. The rocket went just under 30 km, impacting about 5 meters from the target.
