ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

6th ESB Recognized at Standish Beach Dedication Ceremony
Capt. Brandon Bolhous, the officer in charge with 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, gives a tour of the new boardwalk the Marines of 6th ESB completed during their annual Innovative Readiness Training in Standish, Maine, August 12, 2016. The boardwalk now allows access to the newly dedicated John H. Rich Jr. and Doris Lee Rich Memorial Beach and Ice Fishing Access Facility. The Marines were able to utilize their skills to complete both vertical and horizontal construction projects to include a new road way, a parking lot able to hold 100 cars, four vertical structures and a boardwalk to lead to the beach.
