ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Gone but never forgotten
Lynn Grogan walks her son, Aaron back to their seats during a memorial ceremony held for her husband Sept. 18, 2016, at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, La. Maj. Jason Grogan and Maj. Erik A. Boyce were killed July 6, 2016, when the Bell 525 helicopter they were piloting crashed near Arlington, Texas. Grogan and Boyce were both assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, Detachment A, at NAS JRB New Orleans at the time of their deaths.
