ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Marines from Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, complete the presentation of the National Colors at game one of the 2016 World Series at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Oct. 25, 2016. Just before the ceremony, announcer Bob Tyek gave credit to the Marine Corps Reserve and its 100 years of faithful service. Today, approximately 500 Reserve Marines are providing fully integrate global operational support to the Fleet and Combatant Commanders.
