ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

NFL’s “Salute to Service” campaign recognizes the Marine Forces Reserve Centennial
Lieutenant General Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, flips the coin at the beginning of the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the New Orleans Saints at Levi’s Stadium, Nov. 6, 2016. McMillian was the National Football League’s guest of honor at the game as part of its “Salute to Service” campaign. Today, approximately 500 Reserve Marines are providing fully integrated operational support to Fleet and Combatant Commanders around the world.
