ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

CMC awards Reserve Career Planner of the Year
Staff Sgt. Christin J. McAdams with 6th Communications Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, stands at attention to be recognized as the Active Reserve Career Planner of the Year during the annual Commandant of the Marine Corps’ 2016 Combined Awards Ceremony, Feb. 8, 2017, in Quantico, Va. McAdams, along with the Active Reserve Career Planner of the Year runner-up, Staff Sgt. Jaim W. Bourg with 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, were awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for their hard work and dedication.
