ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Marines Compete in Series of Combat Sports

The competition featured three separate events to include grappling, knife fighting, and combative baton, all hosted by the MARFORRES Martial Arts Team.
