CBRN Marines Complete Advanced Training
TUNNEL HILL, Ga. – Lance Cpl. Steven Deason, a hazmat technician with Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Platoon, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, documents a potentially dangerous building during a CBRN training exercise at Volunteer Training Site, Catoosa, Tunnel Hill, Ga., April 4, 2017. While in an area where the circumstances of the environment are unknown, the CBRN Marines document everything they see because they are the first reconnaissance team to access the area. Photos and sketch pads are used to document details collected from every room to brief the rest of their platoon after they return to the combat operations center. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
