ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

CBRN Marines Complete Advanced Training

Elliot Homan, hazmat technicians with Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Platoon, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, document and sample an unknown substance during a CBRN training exercise at Volunteer Training Site, Catoosa, Tunnel Hill, Ga., April 6, 2017. The assessment and consequence management team conducted their quarterly ACM training to enhance their CBRN capabilities.
