ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Barrow’s gravestone, the 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps, during the playing of “Taps” at the annual wreath laying ceremony for Barrow at Grace Church of West Feliciana, in Saint Francisville, La., Nov. 10, 2017.
