ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

MARFORRES honors 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps

Barrow, the 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps, at Grace Church of West Feliciana, in Saint Francisville, La., Nov. 10, 2017. Barrow served as Commandant from 1979 to 1983.
