ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Combating the cold: IRT Arctic Care 2018 kicks off
Several U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters are staged prior to being loaded with gear and supplies to depart Kotzebue, Alaska, and travel to outlying villages, April 14, 2018. Service members in support of IRT Arctic Care will conduct critical mission training and logistical movements in order to simulate military/civilian humanitarian operations and health care delivery in time of crisis, conflict or disaster.
