ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

MARFORRES Marines deliver smiles through Toys for Tots Program

Mario Acevedo, a training chief with G-3/5, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, helps a child pick out a toy during a Toys for Tots event at the New Orleans Saints Training Facility in Metairie, La., Dec. 20, 2018. Local toy collection campaigns begin in October and last until mid to late December. Toy distribution also takes place mid to late December.
