ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Lance Cpl. Trevor J. Poole, an optics technician with Combat Logistics Battalion 453, 4th Marine Logistics Group, uses a biometric fingerprint scanner made by Reserve Marines at an innovation cell located within their Home Training Center in San Jose, Calif., Feb. 09, 2019. Made from three dimensional printed parts and repurposed electrical components, this biometric fingerprint scanner is a cost efficient alternative for security and better enhances readiness for the Marine Corps.
