ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

FLOTUS Attends Toys for Tots Event

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program was founded in 1947 by Maj. Bill Hendricks, USMCR. Since 1947, Marine Reserve Centers throughout the country have collected new, unwrapped toys and distributed those toys to less fortunate children during the holiday season.
