ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Sgt. Maurice Spicer (left) and Sgt. Jude Guillaume Bulk Fuel Company C 4th Marine Logistics Group, march on the colors in honor of Lt. Col. David Althoff (retired), at the Worship and Praise Church Chandler Arizona, Mar. 19, 2022. Althoff served as a pilot in the Vietnam War and completed over 1,000 combat missions. He is credited with saving hundreds of Marines who were critically wounded in battle and the recipient of three Silver Stars, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, one Bronze Star, one Meritorious Service Medal and 55 Air Medals.
