ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

ARCTIC EDGE 2024: MACS-24 Marines employ AN/TPS-80
Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 24, Marine Air Control Group 48, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, deploy a AN/TPS-80 (Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar) in preparation of Exercise Arctic Edge 2024 (AE24) in Fort Greely, Alaska, Feb. 10, 2024. The G/ATOR is a newly developed mobile mid-range system designed to provide task-oriented radar picture and command and control function in support of operations in an arctic environment. Arctic Edge 2024 is a U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise demonstrating the U.S. Military's capabilities in extreme cold weather, joint force readiness, and U.S. military commitment to mutual strategic security.
