ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Reserve Marines train for success in culminating event
U.S. Marines of Kilo and Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, conduct a company supported attack during a mission rehearsal training exercise, Camp Atterbury, Indiana, April 12, 2024. The training prepared the Marines for this year’s Integrated Training Exercise 4-24 led by 23rd Marine Regiment, the Marine Corps Reserve’s premiere annual training event held at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twenty-nine Palms, California, and gave them the opportunity to rehearse mission essential ranges prior to the complex ranges they will be running at ITX.
