ABOUT

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

U.S. Marines from 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Battalion 7th Marines and Marine Air Support Squadron 6, pose with Chilean Marines in front of U.S. and Chilean Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicles at an Expeditionary Advanced Base in Puerto Aldea, Chile, on Sept. 6, 2024, while participating in Exercise UNITAS LXV. The U.S. and Chilean Marines took a group photo to commemorate their combined training at UNITAS LXV and to celebrate the partnership between the countries.
