ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

MARFORRES 250th Marine Corps Birthday Run
U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Leonard F. Anderson IV, commander, Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South, gives a speech after an annual birthday motivational run celebrating the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps, in New Orleans, Nov. 7, 2025. The run started at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans and traveled along the Mississippi River ending back at MCSF.
