ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Tradewinds 2014
Partner-nation militaries prepare to train with Marines from Company C, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, and Canadian soldiers with the Royal Canadian Regiment on the M4 Benelli Tactical Shotguns aboard Las Calderas Naval Base, Dominican Republic, June 21, 2014. U.S. Marines with C Co., 4th LE Bn., Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, and soldiers with the Canadian Army are training police forces and militaries from 13 partner nations participating in phase II of Tradewinds 2014 held from June 16 through June 25. Tradewinds 2014 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in order to improve partner nation counter-transnational organized crime missions and humanitarian aid and disaster response operations capacity.
