ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Master Chief of Religious Program Specialists visits Sailors for RP birthday celebration
Master Chief Petty Officer Dino Medler (left), the 13th senior enlisted leader for the religious program specialist rating, cuts the Religion Program Specialist birthday cake with the youngest Sailor present, Religious Program Specialist 3rd Class OJ Barrera, on Jan. 14, 2014 at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans. Medler visited with Sailors at Marine Forces Reserve and Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the creation of the religious program specialist rating, which was created Jan. 15, 1979. The religious program specialists at Marine Forces Reserve provide support to Navy chaplains in developing programs to meet the needs of Sailors and Marines throughout the Reserve Force.
