ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Navy Reserve vice admiral visits chaplains and religious program specialists during MARFORRES Chaplaincy Training
Vice Admiral Robin Braun, chief of the Navy Reserve, addresses Reserve chaplains and religious program specialists at the Marine Forces Reserve Chaplaincy Training seminar at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Feb. 5, 2015. Braun spoke about the Navy Reserve’s goals for the next 10 years, including cultivating leadership, advancing technology, furthering force readiness and relevance, as well as upcoming changes to the Navy Reserve in light of its 100th anniversary on March 3, 2015. Established during World War I, the Navy Reserve’s mission is to deliver strategic depth and operational capabilities to the Navy, Marine Corps, and joint forces. The MARFORRES Chaplaincy training seminar focused on preparing chaplains and RPs throughout MARFORRES to support Reserve Marines across the world.
