ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Marines and sailors with CLB-453 provide the Logistics Combat Element to ITX 4-17
TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. – Marines with 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, make their way out of the combat service area and back to their assigned checkpoint after resupplying water during Integrated Training Exercise 4-17, in Twentynine Palms, California, on June 21, 2017. The Marines received medical care, fuel, meals, water and other services during the final battalion attack of ITX 4-17 from Combat Logistics Battalion 453, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, 4th Marine Logistics Group, MARFORRES, who was part of the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 23 Logistics Combat Element.
