ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. MARFORRES Marines and NOPD hold "A Night Against Crime"
Police officers with New Orleans Police Department let families sit in a patrol car to see how it operates, at The Village at Federal City in New Orleans, Oct. 17, 2017. NOPD officers held “A Night Out Against Crime” to not only bring together Federal City and other community members, but to also raise awareness about the presence of the police force in the New Orleans area. ANOAC is a yearly, nationwide community-building campaign that promotes police-to-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods a safer and better place to live.
