ABOUT

Arctic Edge 25 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff designated joint and combined field training exercise oriented on homeland defense in the Alaska/Arctic region. This exercise provides an opportunity to highlight cross command coordination in the Alaskan theater of operations for homeland defense.

U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in ARCTIC EDGE 2025 (AE25) Alaska, Aug. 8-24th, 2025. Specialized Arctic training generates valuable lessons learned for warfighters and enablers ensuring they can execute their assigned missions in any environment. AE25 is a NORAD and U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise designed to improve readiness, demonstrate capabilities and enhance Joint and Allied Force interoperability in the Arctic. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Jenna Bentle, a hospital corpsman with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, is part of the task force’s medical team assisting in the prevention of COVID-19 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The SPMAGTF-SC medical team ensured that the service members of the task force are screened for the appropriate symptoms and continue to follow virus prevention guidelines during training events. The task force trains to deploy to Latin America and the Caribbean to help with crisis response training and operations within the region. Bentle is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
