ABOUT 

Atlantic Alliance 2025 (AA25), formerly Bold Alligator, is a major East Coast naval exercise running from June 27 to July 15. Key objectives include enhancing naval maneuvering, command-and-control coordination with the Marine Corps and allies. AA25 will feature training events like air assaults, reconnaissance, amphibious assaults, and simulated naval combat.

In honor of our brother: Sgt Carson Holmquist laid to rest by family, fellow Marines
Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, and Marines of and Sailors of Marine Forces Reserve, salute as taps is played for Sgt. Carson Holmquist, a motor transport maintenance chief with and Battery M, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, during his funeral July 25, 2015 in Grantsburg, Wis. Holmquist, along with three other Marines and a Sailor, was killed in an attack at the Naval Operation Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. on July 16, 2015. Marines, family, friends and the community of Grantsburg gathered to honor the memory and sacrifice of Holmquist and his fallen brothers-in-arms.
