ABOUT 

Atlantic Alliance 2025 (AA25), formerly Bold Alligator, is a major East Coast naval exercise running from June 27 to July 15. Key objectives include enhancing naval maneuvering, command-and-control coordination with the Marine Corps and allies. AA25 will feature training events like air assaults, reconnaissance, amphibious assaults, and simulated naval combat.

Marines with MIU and Marine Corps Software Factory develop tools for the modern battlefield
U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Ryan Hennessey, assigned to the Marine Innovation Unit (MIU), Marine Forces Reserve, works on a “Flight Mode” software feature at the Marine Corps Software Factory (MCSWF) in Austin, Texas, 17 - 29 March, 2025. MIU Marines are assisting MCSWF in the development and production of software solutions that address critical needs for the Marine Corps, including Flight Mode, an interface that makes it easier for pilots to receive and record digital information in flight. MIU is a Selected Marine Corps Reserve unit headquartered in Newburgh, N.Y. that accelerates the development and adoption of advanced capabilities across the Marine Corps.
