14th Marine Regiment builds camaraderie at Dallas Cowboys stadium
Master Gunnery Sgt. Beutz, (left), ground fights with Sgt. Jordan Johnson, legal chief and separations NCO for Headquarters Company, 14th Marine Regiment, during a special physical training session held at the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas, July 1, 2015. The regiment's Commanding Officer, Col. Joseph Russo, lead more than 40 of his Marines on a 3-mile run inside the stadium to build camaraderie and teamwork to help them focus on his vision of the Marine Corps' Expeditionary Force 21, the planning concept to develop the Corps over the next 10 years. Russo came up with the idea to use Cowboys Stadium as a training location because he said he understands what an honor it is to lead such an incredible group of Marines such as those in the regiment so he wanted to do something different and unique for them to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to the unit and the Corps.
