Marines with 4th Civil Affairs Group, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, march with M-16 rifles in-hand during the 57th Inaugural Parade from the Capitol to the White House Jan. 21, 2013. For centuries, Marines have supported the inaugural events and this year, more than 2,100 service members from each of the five branches marched in the parade. After the Enlisted Awards Parade on Sept. 26, Gen. James F. Amos, commandant of the Marine Corps, and Sgt. Maj. Micheal P. Barrett, sergeant major of the Marine Corps, were invited to remain on Lejeune Field at Marine Corps Base Quantico to visit with the award winners. Sgt. Dante Capane was selected to receive the award and represent the best of the 39,000 Marine Reservists.
