Green discussed some of his experiences in the Marine Corps, explained how he arrived to the position he is in today, and urged the Marines to stand up and share their experiences in the Corps. Green also commended Marines for their hard work, encouraged them to protect what they’ve earned as a Marine, and emphasized the importance of upholding the standards of the Corps on and off duty.

The flight operation was the first during ITX 4-14, a two-week exercise and the first time for the pilots flying in a desert environment since last year’s ITX. ITX is the largest Marine Corps Reserve training exercise with more than 4,000 Marines and sailors participating from units across the United States. The exercise focuses on the tactical application of combined-arms during global contingencies.
