METAIRIE, La. The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing band, from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., marches in the Krewe of Zeus Mardi Gras parade in Metairie, La., March 3, 2014. Mardi Gras is such a large event in Louisiana that dozens of bands, singers and dancers from all over the country are requested to support the festivities. The 2nd MAW band and color guard volunteered their services to show their pride for the Marine Corps and to assist in the highly-demanding parade schedule. The band played songs such as Anchors Away and the Marines’ Hymn as they marched along the route. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. J. Gage Karwick/Released)
