Police Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department pose for a picture by a plaque dedicated to Lance Cpl. Squire Wells during his memorial service in Marietta, Georgia, July 21, 2015. Wells was one of the Marines killed during an attack by a gunman at the Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center where police officers fought to subdue the gunman. Wells, his fellow Marines and the police officers all displayed heroism during the attack and are honored and recognized for their selfless service.
