Peterson, Inspector-Instructor first sergeant, Company D, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, presents the flag to former U.S. Senator Conrad Burns’ wife during the memorial service at MetraPark’s Rimrock Auto Arena, May 6, 2016. Burns served in the Marine Corps from 1955-1957 and also served as a U.S. Senator from 1989- 2007. Marine Forces Reserve performed 91 percent of all funeral honors rendered by the Marine Corps in calendar year 2015 and continues to provide timely and professional support to veterans.
