Lt. Gen. Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, addresses audience at the kick-off ceremony of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Centennial at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Aug. 26, 2016. Marine Forces Reserve will celebrate 100 years of service by running a series of events across the nation remembering the Marine Corps’ history, heritage, and esprit de corps, while also looking to the future.
