National World War II Museum remembers the attack on Pearl Harbor
Retired Lt. Cmdr. Cass E. Phillips, retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer 4 Francis L. Emond and retired Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. William M. Braddock, survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor, salute the colors during a commemorative ceremony at the National World War II Museum, Dec. 7, 2016, for the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. The event honored the service members who were present during the fateful attack on Dec. 7, 1941. During World War II, by September of 1945, Reserve Marines made up 70 percent of total wartime Marine Corps personnel.
