Age 40, Miami, Florida Gunnery Sgt. Velasco died from injuries sustained in a non-hostile incident in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was an individual mobilization augmentee assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He died on November 19, 2008.
