A Marine with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, clips together his life-preserving device at the McCrady Training Center, South Carolina, Sept. 18, 2018, in preparation to respond to Hurricane Florence. Marine Forces Reserve has a great deal of expertise in the area of response and recovery, gained from Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief across the globe and is part of a coordinated response poised to provide Department of Defense support to FEMA, state and local response efforts during Hurricane Florence.
